Google Ads Performance

When we created Dimension Digital 5 years ago, we built our business on our knowledge of Google Ads and our ability to create world class ad campaigns for local Perth businesses.

When searching for a new advertising agency, you will find everyone says the same thing; they can all get you the best results and they can all beat your current agencies performance.

As such, we think it would be useful if we could show you some of the actual results that we are generating for our clients.

Car Battery Replacement

You can see in our first example above that we are showing results for the last 30 days.

No cherry picking figures here, just the most recent results we were able to show you at the time of publication.

As such, any results we show you across all of these examples are consistent across the whole time that we run these campaigns.

You can see here that the number of conversions is massive.

340 conversions in 30 days.

When we talk about a conversion here at Dimension Digital, we are talking about physical phone calls or email enquiries – so essentially a lead generated for a client’s business.

For this campaign we have an average cost per click of $3.14.

For those of you who were not aware, Google Ads is charged on a pay-per-click basis. You are not actually charged to show your ads, only when a user actually clicks on them.

Although an important metric for us to optimise our campaigns internally, Average Cost-per-click (CPC) is not a metric we tend to focus on with clients. We generally tend to focus on the number of conversions and the return on investment we can generate for each client.

We have a conversion rate of 23.22%.

For every user who clicks on our clients ads we need to ensure that we are turning as many of them as possible into phone calls or email enquiries.

We have a cost per conversion of $13.52.

At the end of the day it all comes down to return on investment – How much does it cost to generate a lead? At only $13 every time someone picks up the phone or emails our client, this a very low cost per conversion.

Locksmith

Moving over to our next example, we are now showing results for a locksmith based in Perth.

We have generated 316 leads for this client within the last 30 days.

…an average cost per click of $2.43

… and a massive conversion rate of 40.51%

Essentially, for every 10 people who click on this client’s ads, 4 of those will actually become a lead and contact this client.

As such, this client is only paying $6 for every lead.

This all leads to a very, very low cost per conversion allowing us to generate an amazing return on investment for our client.

Skip Bin Hire

Moving across to the next example, we have a skip bin hire company.

Here we can see we have 215 conversions in the last 30 days.

Average cost per click is a little bit higher on this one as we are in a very competitive market that is saturated with a lot of operators. More competition may mean that the average cost per click tends to be higher so it is important to ensure we achieve higher conversion rates.

Conversion rate is very very high for this campaign at 33%.

…which gives us a very respectable cost per lead of just $13.24.

Final Thoughts

You can see consistently through all of these ad campaign examples that we are able to achieve high conversion rates, low cost per conversion and a high number of quality leads generated for each of our clients.

Our main goal when it comes to running any ad campaign is to generate a good return on investment for every single client that we deal with.

Hopefully this has given you a bit of an insight into what we are actually able to do for our clients and you don’t have to just take our word for it.
